Issue 19 of Beckettiana (2022) is available now to download here.

Beckettiana is the only wholly Spanish-language journal devoted to Beckett Studies and is co-edited in Buenos Aires Argentina by Lucas Margarit, María Inés Castagnino and Marcelo Lara. The current issue is a particularly rich one as it celebrates 30 years since the title’s initiantion. The volume contains articles by Marjorie Perloff, Dirk Van Hulle, Antonio Borriello, Camila Flynn, Solange Aurora Heffesse, Cristian Cely Carrillo, María Magdalena Vuoto and Analía C. Cefali, covering a wide range of subjects from Beckett’s relationship to Shakespeare, Gilles Deleuze and Julio Cortázar, to his war experiences, and analysis of a number of aspects of his poetry. Also included in this bumper edition are a number of book and performance reviews as well as an interview with Sarah Jane Scaife (director) and Mícheál Ó Conghaíle (translator) on their Irish language production of Happy Days, titled Laethanta Sona.

Beckettiana remains a pioneer of Beckett studies in the Spanish-speaking world and all the more important as it continues as an ope-access journal.
