The Samuel Beckett Society and Bordeaux Montaigne University are pleased to announce that we will offer 4 ‘Ruby Cohn Travel Bursaries’ of the value of £300 each to Early Career Researchers wishing to attend the annual conference in Bordeaux in May 2020.

‘Early Career Researcher’ describes any scholar of any nationality not yet holding a permanent salaried position. Your contribution must have already been accepted by the Conference Organisers.

Applicants who have been successful recipient of this bursary in the last 3 years are not eligible to re-apply.

Please send a 400-word description of your contribution to daniela.caselli@manchester.ac.uk by 21 February 2020, including your name and contact details on a separate document. A committee of Beckett scholars will rank the anonymized proposals and the Society will get back to you via e-mail two weeks after the deadline.
