“Try Again. Fail Again. Fail Better.” Success in Publishing

The first seminar of 2025 from Samuel Beckett Early Career Scholars Initiative is a webinar on publishing, titled ‘Try again. Fail again. Fail Better: Success in Publishing.’ The session will share ideas on aspects of getting published in the discipline. The event will include contributions from Dr. Trish McTighe (Queen’s University Belfast), Dr. Feargal Whelan (Trinity College Dublin), and Dr. Matthijs Engelberts (University of Amsterdam). All three have extensive experience in serving as editors of edited volumes, peer-reviewed journals, and online newsletters.

The one hour webinar will take place on Friday March 21 at 5:00 PM UK/6:00 PM Europe/10:00 AM PST.

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions after each speaker’s short presentation. A recording will be shared with those who attended.
