It is with great sadness that The Beckett Circle reports the passing of Herbert Blau, a friend and colleague. We share the sentiment of Mark Nixon, President of the Samuel Beckett Society: ‘Beckett Studies has lost an important scholar and theatre director, and he will be sorely missed by all that knew him.’
