A rare opportunity is being afforded those who are lucky enough to be in and around Phoenix, Arizona next week as the highly rated production of Happy Days from Níl Dabht Productions plays for one night only at the Irish Cultural Centre and McLelland Library. Starring Monica Horan as Winnie and Timothy Durkin as Willie, this outstanding production is already known to many Society members as it played at Independent Shakespeare Co. in Los Angeles during the 2024 Annual Conference, Beckett and Justice. Greeted enthusiastically by the audience at the time, this reprise is highly recommended.

The event will also feature a post-show discussion with Beckett scholar and Society boardmember Dr Katherine Weiss (Cal State LA).

The play will take place on February 6, 2026 at the Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library in Downtown Phoenix (1106 N Central Ave). Tickets are $15 and are available online at this link.
