





The time has come to cast our votes to elect two new Executive Board members for the Samuel Beckett Society. Society members in good standing should choose one of the six nominees below (listed in no particular order) and send their name to beckettsociety@gmail.com by Saturday, 1 February.

Hannah Simpson (University of Edinburgh)
Judy Hegarty Lovett (Gare St Lazare Ireland)
Katherine Weiss (California State University, Los Angeles)
Mark Byron (University of Sydney)
The two members elected will start office in February 2025 (backdated). The member with the majority of votes will serve as Vice-President for two years and then succeed to the Presidency. The member with the second most votes will become a member of the Executive Board.
Duties of the newly-elected Executive Board Members will include: meeting via Zoom on a quarterly basis; collaborating with other members of the Executive Board; contributing to the organization of the annual conference and the MLA sessions; consulting with the editor of The Beckett Review; and generally advancing the mission of the Samuel Beckett Society.
