A weekend residential course on the plays of Samuel Beckett takes place at Madingley Hall, home of the University of Cambridge Institiute of Continuing Education. The course, which is directed by Dr Andy Wimbush, will explore how Beckett’s strange but often very funny plays, including Godot, Endgame, and Happy Days, can speak to us today about love, friendship, meaning, aging, illness, death, and identity.
All meals are included in the registration fee and accommodation is available on-site at a special rate. The event welcomes all participants over 18 including those without an academic background.
